Dear Family,

Another Sunday is here and we are going to be teaching the young women a lesson on HONESTY.  There were some wonderful stories we will be using by Sister Dibb, Elder Gay and President Monson.
There was a father who was going to steal some corn from his neighbor.  He decided to take his son with him as a watchman.  The father climbed over the fence with his sack.  He looked right and left to see that know one was around.  His son called out to him.......Father you forgot to look up!    GREAT STORY.    A wonderful story for all the kids to hear.

We had cottage meeting last night, up in the mountains, on a very small winding road. (All roads are half the size of US ) You have to be very very careful.  We decided to go up yesterday morning for a trail run.  We found a better less winding road to go back home.  When we went last night it was dark, couldn't find the house and decided that we will do the cottage meetings that are in town and closer.  It was not fun.  But we did learn a lot and had an investigator that was very interested and commented often.  We watched several mormon messages which are always good.  They make great FAMILY HOME EVENINGS.

On a trial run we went to a little town, that we love, called Sassafras.  We ate brunch at Miss Marple's Tea Room (named after the PBS show still on PBS).  It was a real honest to goodness English tea room and the food was marvelous.  For dessert we got a toffee sticky pudding with heavy cream that was fabulous.  If anyone decides to visit one stop will be the Tea Room.

Wednesday we had 3 new missionaries arrive from Tonga.  They were all like deer in headlights.  The one elder has come without anything but an uncle that lives here called to find out what he needs.  He is not the first to come with nothing and we somehow get everything they need.  One was a darling, quiet young Tongan girl.  They have great trainers to teach them.  We were able to take the two sisters and the new missionary to their flat, one and a half hours away.  Now fitting two very large Samoans and one average Tongan in the back seat of our Toyota Carolla was difficult to say the least.  They were all very good about it but very uncomfortable.  We have to sit together to navigate where we are going because the driving is difficult where ever we go.  We drove thru a very scary part of downtown Melbourne, had to get on and off the toll roads, all in all not our favorite thing to do.  Now it won't be so difficult the next time.  We did take them to a nice dinner and our new "golden" (no more called greenies) ate with her fingers.  She realized we were using forks and knives and tried to do it.  What a life changing experience for so many missionaries.

Sister Tui (to e) is leaving in two weeks.  What a powerful kind wonderful missionary she has been.  She comes from a village in Tonga  where there are four wards in her village of 500 people.  80 to 90 % of Tonga is LDS.  From what we see and hear it is a very poor country.  The missionaries are all great, kind people.

Had to cancel a day of work and the temple sessions because the electricity went out.  One of the sessions was in progress.  Adrienne had a great day shopping.

The ward is having a pot luck today at 5:00 pm with a quick 15 minute missionary moment.  We took a nice big salad to the last one and no one touched it.  So this time we are taking chips and salsa.  (Adrienne is still waiting for the salsa recipe)  They basically only eat finger food and every child puts their fingers in it.  It is referred to as, "bring a plate or bring a slice."  Of course, last week we had to ask what it meant.

In closing we are including three thought;
GREAT FAITH HAS A SHORT SHELF LIFE                PRESIDENT EYRING
NEED TO UNDERSTAND THE BLESSINGS OF THE SPIRIT            ELDER BEDNAR
WE ARE THE HOUSE AND THE LORD IS THE RENOVATOR, KNOCKING DOWN WALLS AND DOORS TO HELP US

Love to all of you,

Adrienne, Dee Dee, mom, mother, grandma

Hello

I am sitting at my desk with 10 things to do,but I decided to write instead. Yesterday a tree fell on something and the church, office and temple were dark all day. It happened around 10:00 am. The temple had started a session at 9:30. Unless they have a generator it would have bee pretty dark. The celestial room has windows ,but not the other rooms. I' m not sure what they would have done. Dee dee and I ended up going over to the shopping center 4 times. First in the am to pick up some packages. Second when the lights went out. They said to come back at 1:00 . They still were not on. So we decided to run our errands. We got over there and had to come back because Dee Dee forgot the computer. So we went back and finished  the errands. We stopped for tacos at a really good eatery. By the movie house they have probably 10 eating places that are great. They all have outdoor eating and there are those standup heaters all over. Everyone eats outside around here.

All missionaries over here have to have a Working With Children Card. They do a background check to make sure we are all ok to be around children.everyone who volunteers has to have one,so I am working to get these done. We have around 20 missionaries coming in on the 8th of October, who will need the card. I am also working getting badges, getting temple dates for the missionaries for next month and making an agenda for staff meeting through December. My typing skill really come in handy with all of this!

It has turned cold and rainy the last couple of days. Saturday is suppose to be nice. It is also the final game of football. They said to not go door to door during the game or to go to the city. They take their sports very seriously. The Bishop has opened his house to anyone who wants to come and watch. Dee Dee and I are not going. We are going up to Sassafrass and have lunch at Miss Marples Restaurant. All the tables look like you are going for afternoon tea. It is a cute place

I love you all and miss you. When are you coming to visit???
 Love, Mom

Tasmania letter

Dear Family,
Pres and Sister Maxwell and 10 couple missionaries went on a retreat to Tasmania.  Yes, it is a state in Australia.
Day 1
Went to a cheese factory, no such thing as mild cheddar.  Cheeses are all white,
Went to a raspberry farm and had lunch and dessert with raspberries.  Yum
Went to a honey factory run by the United Brethren, similar to Amish.  Bought lemon honey and it is delicious.  They had over 50 kinds of honey to taste.
Went to a wild animal park.  We were the only people there because of the pouring rain.  Adrienne and I are not animal people but we decided to be brave for the gran kids, to touch and pet all the animals we saw.
          PICTURES ON cannonsisterscalledtoserve.blogspot.com.au
          PLEASE SHOW THE GRANDKIDS.
Went to some caves.  It is amazing how long it takes the stalagtites and stalagmites to grow together, thousands of years. The two guides were very funny.
A a couple from mainland China went with us.  They speak no english.  There were two sisters missionaries that went with us as translators. They are the first couple ever from China to serve a mission.

Day 2
Went in a bus up to the top of Mount Wellington, very high mountain.  It started to snow.  I was scared to death and rode with my head down, never looking up or down to see how steep it was.  I hate heights.  Adrienne and the others got out to look over the edge and the winds were blowing at 50 mph.  People had to hold onto the railings.  The bus driver said we had to leave because the bus started shaking.  As we were driving down the ice was cracking under the wheels.
On our way down to Hobart, two hours from the mountain we stopped at several small towns that had very cute boutique shops.  The old houses were fixed up and all were very quaint.  We bought our first Christmas ornaments in Richmond.
We had our second fireside with the President.  It was specifically for senior couples.  The stake presidents were in charge but some couples spoke trying to encourage other couples to go on missions.  The church is really searching and seeking out senior couples and sisters.  If you know of anyone interested President Maxwell would like to know.

Day 3
Drove to Port Arthur, a #1 visitor site in Australia.  It opened in 1836 as a prison.  England sent all their prisoners here, even those that only stole a loaf of bread, like Jean Val Jean. Children as young as 9 were sent here also.  It is depressing and the way they treated the prisoners was unbelievable.  They beat, killed etc but made them read the bible and go to Sunday services.  There is a depressing aura all around.  Years ago the government years tried to burn it down so there would be no evidence that it existed.  But it didn't work.
We will never return.

We were happy to get home Friday night to our little comfortable abode.

President Maxwell talked to us on the bus ride and told us many interesting things from the Area Mission Presidents meeting.  I am just going to list them.

1. Elder Packer, "No such thing as enduring to the end.  We endure because there is no end.
Missionaries are to FAN the FLAME of the light of Christ that is in everyone.
Spirit will guide us.  We are ordained and set apart as missionaries to move forward in the right direction and we will be warned if we are moving to the left.

2.  Book of Mormon is SO important.
Investigators need to know     JOSEPH SMITH SAW THE FATHER AND THE SON,         THE BOOK OF MORMON IS TRUE

3. 51% of all missionaries serving come from homes where neither parent is a member of the Church.

4. Before Preach My Gospel came to be the lessons were memorized.  90% of those remembered only the Plan of Salvation and the First Vision.
Those lessons are still taught first.

5. Elder Christofferson,  WHAT IS THE WORTH OF SOULS
            Capacity to become as God.
No greater work, "For behold this is my work and my glory, to bring to pass the immortality and eternal life of man."
Act with full appreciation of the divine nature of all we meet.
Have a heightened awareness of ourselves and our potential.

6. Elder Oaks,
Don't assume everyone knows about us.  Spiritualism is dying.  PONDER,  IT GIVES US DIRECTION TO THE SPIRIT.

We have two visits this week with our in-active members.  Please pray for us and them that they might return to Christ.

In closing a quote from our lesson today by Joseph Fielding Smith.  It is Adrienne and me.

"I know that the work I have been called to do is the work of God.  But I know that our happiness is dependent upon my faithfulness while I am here.
I should be willing to do this much for the love of all mankind when our Savior could suffer as He did for us.... I am in the hands of our Heavenly Father and he will
watch over me and protect me if I do his will and he will be with you while I am away and watch over you and protect you in all things."

Love you all,
Mom, Mother, Grandma, Adrienne, Dee Dee

Tasmania

Cheese Factory in Tasmania with our financial missionary.  He is very funny.

Tasmania is beautiful and cold.  Lots of farming, ranching and forests.

The stories and history of the prison are so sad and terrible.  The government tried to destroy it by fire because they didn't want people to know about it.  Now it is one of the most popular tourist sites.

Halfway between Antartica and equator.  On a boat going to dead man's island.  Freezing and pouring rain

Only sunny day or 2 hours of three days in Tas.  The peacocks were everywhere.

Went through this cave.  Beautiful

 Same park.  Swaying bridge.

Cool to see mom and baby.

 Love my face.

This mother had baby in pouch.  We were so close to all the kangaroos.  It was pouring rain.

Geese

Tasmanian Devil

He looks nice but can be very mean.

Wombat

We want the kids to see us being brave with these weird animals.

This is a quick note. Got back from Tasmania late last night and we have been very busy. One of the couples we went with have a daughter that teaches 3rd grade at Kates' new school. Her name is Mrs Hansen. Thought I would ask if you knew her.
Will write  a better letter later
Love you, Mom

Dear Loved ones,

Well another week is gone and we have had our usual busy.

Most Mondays we(the office staff) meet with President Maxwell and Sister Maxwell.  The previous week was a conference for all the area Mission presidents and their wives.  They came from the 5 missions in Australia, Fiji, Samoa, New Zealand, Tonga, the Marshall islands, Papua New Guinea plus area authorities.  It was held in Melbourne.  President Maxwell said it was marvelous and they were taught so much.
Elder Tom Perry said, (no he wasn't there but the Area President Pearson quoted him.)  I am kept up at night by three things,
first and second, the health of the two men ahead of me, and third, because of the wickedness today people will come to the church and may not know why and will we have enough people to be leaders.
Elder Pearson talked about Elder Oaks.  He was on track to be on the supreme court. He was called to be an apostle.  He had to define his divine identity.  Was he a lawyer and judge called to be an apostle or and apostle who used to be a lawyer and a judge.
We all need to define our divine identity.
Elder Pearson also said a mission for our youth is TO PREPARE FOR BEING AN ETERNAL FAMILY.
President Maxwell teaches us and we are trying to write what he tells us.  He even occasionally quotes his Dad, Neal A. Maxwell.

We went and visited one of the woman in the ward.  Her husband is totally inactive but she is active.  It was a great visit with a delightful couple. John Body her husband is totally inactive.  We walked in and right off the bat he said, "haven't been to church in a long time and I  not going back." He was very pleasant.  They are both from England and miss it very much.  But their children came to Australia so they followed.  He was 9 years old when the bombs started dropping in England. They both remember having children and some adults coming to the country to live with them, due to the bombing. We go as missionaries but don't teach a lesson, yet.  We did ask if we could leave a prayer with them and both quickly said yes.

We have a new couple in the mission.  The Latteiers.  They are from California, Oceanside.  They met in Vietnam while he was in the service.  She worked for his squadron.  They were the only two people that didn't drink. Long story short they were married in Sydney, Australia and in the temple.  The ward members, that they didn't know, arranged their wedding and reception and made a dress for her in two days. They are a great couple.  We needed a couple for the Vietnamese branch and here they are.  We drove them around all day Friday getting them set up in their house, getting luggage, phones etc.

We are so much more comfortable driving around.  We even ventured into downtown Melbourne, or the city as everyone calls it.
We met some friends of Caren and her friend Patti.  They were so fun and took us to lunch. We broke all rules, religion and politics but no arguing and they have invited us back to spend a day with them and see more of downtown.  Leonie and Jim.  I expect to stay close to them for next 17 months.

We taught Relief Society today and it went well,  Love One Another was the lesson.  The first counselor in the bishopric called us in and asked if we could substitute sometimes in Primary and then the YW president asked us to teach in two weeks. We do love our ward and loved the primary program today.  On the web cannonsisterscalledtoserve.blogspot.com.au we put a picture of two of the Samoan children in their native dress.  They were so excited to get their picture taken.  They were darling.

We are going with President and Sisters Maxwell and 8 couples to Tasmania for three days.  We are so excited.  It will be cold, of course, but they say it is beautiful and so we will take lots of pictures. We will be visiting the prisons, where all the convicts from England were sent.  It is called Port Arthur.  We will hold two fireside down there for President to talkeabout the need for senior couples.

If there is anyone at home that any of you know who would be interested in serving a mission down here let us know.

A new couple just moved in next door.  They are from India and she is a nurse.  We have introduced ourselves and they seem very nice.  She is really cute.

We love you all and thought of you and all the children during the primary program.

Keep the letters coming.

Hello

Dear family,

That last couple of days have had terrible weather. We haven't had the flooding which we hear is happening in southern Utah, but we do get a hail storm. There are new cars here in the parking lot,and Elder King was sure they were going to get a lot of dents. It came down so hard and fast. Dee Dee and I got one of the new cars. It is a white Toyota corolla with 38 miles on it. It is very nice to drive. Back to the weather. There is a ball park across the street from us. When we came home from work,it was totally white and had a mist hanging over the whole area. It was beautiful but weird. Our landlord was standing outside and said he had never seen this kind of weather before.

We went to the temple last night. It was so nice. There are youth there every Wed night doing baptisms. It is fun to watch them. There were even older people getting re-baptized. I love going to the temple, and I love the people there.

I'm glad Robbie is doing better and hopefully Elsie will continue to recover. I love hearing news about everyone and also pictures. Has institute started. Tell everyone hello. Also tell them the missions need  Senior missionaries. We could use 2 couples ASAP.

We had some new missionaries come in this week. One of the Elders is from Rexburg and knows JD. I sent a note to him. It doesn't matter where you go ,there will always be someone who you know or you have a connection to  because of the church. I love the gospel!  President and Sister Maxwell are wonderful people. Pres Maxwell has a great sense of humor like his dad did. We love having them around, but they stay so busy.

Well I just got back from a quick run over to the temple. A elder patron fainted . The ambulance was on the way,but I went over till they got there. This is far from the first medical assistance I have given. One sister had a razor in her purse! After applying pressure for 45 minutes they had to go to the dr. Another cut finger, hurt ankle, back X-ray,etc. I am getting to know the medical offices. But I'm glad I can give a little TLC? I love these missionaries.

I love you all. I am so proud of each one of you. Watch over each other and stay close.

 Love Mom

Kangaroo park

Kangaroo park with Lee and Loa Simbert.  Spent all day Saturday.  Hiking 6-7 miles with big hill and rocks.
More flowers.  Don't know their name but so pretty.

These are camelias.  they grow on bushes everywhere.  Red, pink and white.  The bushes are big.  We have a white one in our backyard.

We saw 50-60 kangaroos jumping all over.  Babies and huge 6-7 feet ones.  They ran every time I got close.  We will keep trying to get close up.

Calle lily flowers grow wild and are almost like a weed.
 Huge, huge trees
 Huge cattle farms

Dear Family,

The weather has turned nicer, actually sun both days and we were able to remove one of our layers of clothing.

We had a wonderful day yesterday withtwo lovely ladies in the ward, Lee Smibert and her mother Lola Smibert, who is 84 years old. They wanted to take us to see herds of kangaroos. We thought it would be relaxing walk through the countryside.  It turned out to be a 7 mile walk, hike is a better word in the mountains. We climbed up and down mountains for 3 hours.  Lola stayed with us the whole hike. The country was beautiful.  On our web site; cannonsisterscalledtoserve.blogspot.com.au has a number of pictures we took while hiking. We saw about 50-60 kangaroos and every time I tried to snap a picture they jumped away.  Some were as big and tall as 7 feet. We saw babies feeding.  We took one picture where they were staring at us.

On the drive back we stopped at a little village called Sassafrass. It is a very popular place to visit especially on weekends.  They have a quaint eating and tea establishment called Miss Marples, after the show on PBS.  There is always a waiting line. We are going to drive back there and arrive when it opens.  It has a great yarn store and we took a picture of a scarf/necklace and sent it to Suzette. She wants the pattern.  Good reason to go back.

We also saw beautiful flowers which grow wild everywhere. We sent pictures of the camellias and another tree with pink flowers but don't know the name.  While we were hiking we came upon several bushes of calla lily flowers that grow wild.  They are so expensive in the states and here they consider them weeds.

Sundays are turning into long days.  We just got home from the mission president's fireside.  We help with food, dishes, cleaning after serving snack food to approximately 150 investigators and missionaries.  We will be in charge of the fireside from now on. They are held every fast Sunday.  Sister Maxwell talked about journeys.  She started with the story of President Uctdorf''s family. They knew they needed to leave East Germany and planned it so they left in different groups. President Uctdorf's father was considered a dissent.  He left first on a train going north, the quickest route, two sons went a different direction and crossed the border, his two sisters took a train and convinced the porter to open the door and they jumped to safety.  Pres. and his mother were the last to leave.  They packed a picnic started walking and thought they had crossed the border.  While they were eating on the grass they realized they had not gone far enough. They quickly packed up the lunch and ran.  She tied this journey into Lehi's dream of the tree of life.  Then said we all have journeys and we must hold onto the iron rod with both hands.  Great fireside.

We had a Samoan or Tongan, they don't liked to be mixed up bear his testimony and has only been a member a short time. We have many Samoan, Tongan, Vietnnamese, Chinese(lots) Japanese etc. serving in the mission. We have 73 different languages of the Book of Mormon in our mission office. The young oriental and islander sisters love us and kiss and hug us each time we meet.

In closing I am going to write about Sister Chen.  Adrienne wrote this down in her journal and so I am copying it because she was so special to both of us.
"We have gotten to know and love a very sweet young missionary from China, who went home Tuesday night.  She has been out only 4-5 months.  Her name is Sister Chen.  Her mother is very ill.  She is the only member in her family.  She has a younger sister and feels she needs to be home to help her mother.  She is very shy and doesn't speak great English, but she knew we loved her.  When she came on her mission she had to come straight to Melbourne because the Chinese government would not let her go anywhere else.  She came on a work visa (working for the church).  She came with a small carry on and was wearing levi's and a tee shirt.  That's all.  When she came several people in the office gave her Missionary Prep Classes.  They took her shopping and she also received her Patriarchal blessing.  She also didn't have a temple recommend.  She has since gone to the temple for her endowments. She has been serving in the city where there are Chinese branches.  They also have Vietnamese branches. There are so many missionaries here from mainland China.  She is about the same size as Isabelle Epperson, tiny.  We were so sad to see her leave, but she states she wants to come back. (Pres Maxwell seems to feel she will return) Her life will be forever changed because of what she has learned and how she has grown"

We love you dearly and pray for all of you

Mission Experience

 Missionary experiences:

> 1) We have gotten to know and love a very sweet young missionary from china who went home Tuesday night. She has been out only 4-5 months. Her name is Sister Chen. Her mother is very ill. She is only member in her family. She has a younger sister and feels she needs to be home to help her mom. She is very shy and doesn't speak great English, but she knew we loved her. When she came on her mission she had to come straight to Melbourne because the Chinese government would not let her go anywhere else. She came on a work visa(working for the church). She came with a small carry on and was wearing Levi's and a t shirt. That's all. When she came several people in the office gave her Temple prep classes. They took her shopping, and she also received her Patriarchal Blessing. She has been in the city where there are Chinese branches. They also have Vietnamese branches. There are so many missionaries here from mainland China. She is about the same size as Isabelle. We were sad to see her leave ,but she states she wants to come back. Her life will be forever changed because of what she has learned here and how she has grown.

> 2) All week long there has been an area conference going on in the city. There have been area authorities and mission presidents from all around the pacific area. Today they all came to the temple. They all got together for a picture in front of the temple. We were outside watching get ready for the picture. There was such an unbelievable spirit that came over me as I watched these men and the power and authority they carry. If only the world could see and understand what the Power in the Priesthood really is. I am so thankful for all my sons and grandsons  and the priesthood that they hold. Always honor that great gift you have been given!!!

> 3) the last thing I have to say,one of the AP's was Telling me he was from south Jordan and said he knew someone from AF. He said he was his coach in high school. He asked me if I knew Brock Knight. Here I am in Australia and I meet someone who knows Brock Knight. Anyway call him and tell him a Elder McCleary says Hi.

Hello

Dear family,

First,I need Steve's email. I feel guilty not sending this to him. Hope everyone had a great weekend. Please send pictures. Patti and Steve was Bear Lake warm? I loved the pictures of the kids riding the horses. That is not as easy as it looks to stay on it. I loved Jimmy's comment about Robbie. Andy and Jeni, how was the cabin. We're your Grandparents up there? Tell them hello from me. Erin and Rod, how was St George? Loved the video of Ruby doing a back flip. She is not afraid of the water. That is good. Alex ,it sounded like the car wash was a success. Tiffany and the boys are in my prayers every day. I'm so glad you got that job. Hopefully there will be some great people you will work with. What are you going to be doing? Jimmy and Linzi, the train picture was darling. Where was that? Everyone is growing up too fast. Has Hannah gone home yet?
How is school for everyone?
The weather here is now more like spring. It will probably rain a little every day. Saturday and Sunday were great days. The sun was out.Yeah.
Sundays are turning into long days. We were at church from 12:00-after 6:00. They are long but good. We were involved with our first baptism after church. The ward really supports the baptisms.and then there are treats after.
We are heading to the temple tonight. We have started going Wed night at 6:00 before we go home. It is a beautiful temple and we love it.

I love you and miss you.

Happy Birthday Sarah

Dear Family,

Tuesday  was  transfer day.  What a zoo.  We had 10 come in, because 2  waiting for visas, 2 had health issues, 1 father died.  They all come for supplies which I do, Adrienne had ordered extra badges, that they have to pay for so that was crazy.  The day was very long but it is always good to see the elders and sisters.  Several elders were 18 and looked it. They are so excited and so happy. On Wednesday the elders and sisters went home.  They were happy and scared and sad.

Adrienne had to take a sister missionary to the doctors because of serious health issues. We could be separated because she was with sister missionaries.  I went with Sister Maxwell to do somethings.  We don't go anywhere without each other.  Safety but we depend on one another.

Friday we went to dinner with the office and President and Sister Maxwell for her birthday.  SURPRISE, of course we got lost again, even with our GPS.  One of the senior elders stood on the sidewalk, after calling and saying we were lost, to get our attention so we could get to the restaurant.

The new senior AP has an interesting story.  He is an islander, left home at 14 went to Sydney and found a cousin he had never met.  The cousin was a member and while staying there for two weeks he met a Tongan family asked him what he wanted to do with his life and he said he wanted to finish high school.. He stayed with them til he was 16 than went an lived by himself.  Got a job and started going to church. When he came on his mission another missionary and talked with met this boy's father in another area in Australia.  Talked to him about the church. Elder Howard has now baptized his dad, they aren't real close but he is a super super missionary and fine young man.

Yesterday, Saturday, we were churching all day.  Spent 4 hours at a family history fair at the ward, missionary making new contacts giving out Books of Mormon and then last night had a cottage meeting with and investigator and the husband, non-member, of one of our members.  It was very good and good discussion.
Sunday, today we went to our Ward mission weekly meeting, church for three hours, including mission class with an in-active member, with some weird ideas, then had a baptism right after for our Chinese lady friend, Susan Siew Yen Lim.  Lovely lady.  Her son joined 6 years ago and a served a mission.. He baptized her.  It was a wonderful evening.

By the time we get home from work and  extra church we put on our jammies because we are so tired, have a late dinner and bed.
Not complaining because we are being spiritually fed often.  We feel the spirit so often at the office and especially as we meet and greet the missionaries.  We love it when the President is around.  He will be gone all week because all area mission presidents and wives are coming for leadership training.  He is a great man.

We got our back porch  and garden cleaned and weeded yesterday because the sun was out all day and it got to about 60 degrees.  Warmest day ever, Cold at night but so good to see the sun shining and feel it's warmth.  We also went for a long walk in our neighborhood.  We are going to take pictures of all the beautiful flowers.  Bushes of calle lilies.  Mind you it is winter here.

This  country is so sports-minded that 3/4 of the papers are sports.  We imagine with all the casinos and pokies that there is lots of betting on the games.

Sister Booth, we were at the cottage meeting at her house, grew up in Naples, Italy.
One of our new elders lives two away from Christy Peters Wagstaff in Fruit Heights.
Elder McCleary lives in So. Jordan and Brock Knight  was his coach in high school.  Brock Knight bought Adrienne's home.  It is a small world where the church is concerned.  One of the members of our ward by the name of Knight has a daughter serving in Holladay, Utah on her mission.

Well, it is time for bed.
We love you all and miss you so much, but are doing the Lord's work and love it.
We love pictures on email cause we can print them but of course still instagram and facebook.\\

Love
The Sister Sisters
