Hello

I am sitting at my desk with 10 things to do,but I decided to write instead. Yesterday a tree fell on something and the church,office and temple were dark all day. It happened around 10:00 am. The temple had started a session at 9:30. Unless they have a generator it would have bee pretty dark. The celestial room has windows ,but not the other rooms. I' m not sure what they would have done. Dee dee and I ended up going over to the shopping center 4 times. First in the am to pick up some packages. Second when the lights went out. They said to come back at 1:00 . They still were not on. So we decided to run our errands. We got over there and had to come back because Dee Dee forgot the computer. So we went back and finished  the errands. We stopped for tacos at a really good eatery. By the movie house they have probably 10 eating places that are great. They all have outdoor eating and there are those standup heaters all over. Everyone eats outside around here.

 All missionaries over here have to have a Working With Children Card. They do a background check to make sure we are all ok to be around children.everyone who volunteers has to have one,so I am working to get these done. We have around 20 missionaries coming in on the 8th of October,who will need the card. I am also working getting badges,getting temple dates for the missionaries for next month and making an agenda for staff meeting through December. My typing skill really come in handy with all of this!

 It has turned cold and rainy the last couple of days. Saturday is suppose to be nice. It is also the final game of football. They said to not go door to door during the game or to go to the city. They take their sports very seriously. The Bishop has opened his house to anyone who wants to come and watch. Dee Dee and I are not going. We are going up to Sassafrass and have lunch at Miss Marples Restaurant. All the tables look like you are going for afternoon tea. It is a cute place
